Most recently Laura currently served as Chief Program and Strategy Officer for Altarum Institute, a nonprofit research and consulting organization focused on advancing health among at-risk and disenfranchised populations. In 2024 Laura was named to Becker's list of Women in Health IT to Know.
As CEO of Social Health Bridge, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation, Laura co-created the start-up and led the operationalization of the business strategy and approach, the procurement of affordable housing partnerships, and contract development with care providers and health systems.
As VP, Product Strategy & Social Determinants of Health she developed Centene's enterprise strategy for identifying and addressing the SDOH needs of Centene’s 25M+ members and fostered cross-sector national partnerships with key players.
Laura has experience leading complex lines of business, overseeing the launch of four Financial Alignment Demonstration plans (Medicare/Medicaid Plans). She also created Centene’s award-winning palliative care program, Compassionate Connections™ and their caregiver support program, Caregiving Collaborations™.
